Financial Manager of an Investment Company accused of Embezzlement

The JIACC’s Public Prosecutor decided to detain a financial manager working at an investment company over embezzlement, for 15 days at Marka Reform and Rehabilitation Center.
Investigations revealed that the accused made a deposit of JD5,000 to his personal account rather than to the Securities Commission in the name of one of their clients.
The detainee issued a forged receipt stating that the deposit had been made, however, the investment company discovered the matter and filed a complaint to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission.
