The Public Prosecutor of Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) decided to provisionally deten a former accountant in Kufr Yuba M in West of Irbid District 14 days. This provisional detention is at one of the Rehabilitation and Correction Centers on charges of Embezzlement.
Investigations revealed that the concerned accountant embezzled an amount of 93 thousand JOD during the years 2022 and 2023 from the Municipality revenues.
This case was referred by the (JIACC) to the Public Prosecutor office.
